Yeah, the bald bloke wearing a tin foil dress is Billy Corgan, of Smashing Pumpkins fame. Early 90s alt rock anyone? What wigs me out is that I think he can actually grow a head of hair but chooses not to. Again apologies for the bung photo, it is near impossible to get close to these guys, no matter how much I wrangle with security, they are one step ahead. The Pumpkins have their own production office seperate from V Fest’s one. I have chatted with a few production members and they all agree The Pumpkins have been this years most difficult act to deal with. I dont want to upset fans so I will give credit where it is due, there is a reason why they are headlining, they put on one hell of a show and they are a fundamental band that shaped a lot of others. Whilst ol Bill wields his axe, The Presets prepare for their electro pop engulf on the Yellow Stage. I wont make it over that way tonight, I have snapped them enough this tour. V Fest is almost over for another year, insane.
